Welcome cocktail drink was very nice. Staffs were very friendly (they smiles all the time). The bed was so welcoming. We just got a small trouble with the cabin door in the room number 8. But in general, this is the best trip was excellent. Very relaxing trip to get away from the busy city. Room had awesome views. Will definitely recommend.

Majestic and mysterious, inspiring and imperious: words alone cannot do justice to the natural wonder that is Halong Bay. Imagine 3000 or more incredible islands rising from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin and you have a vision of breathtaking beauty. Halong Bay is pure art, a priceless collection of unfinished sculptures hewn from the hand of nature.

In 1994 it was designated a World Heri­tage site. Visitors can’t help but compare the magical, mystical landscape of limestone islets to Guilin in China and Krabi in southern Thailand, but in reality Halong Bay is more spectacular. These tiny islands are dotted with beaches and grottoes created by wind and waves, and have sparsely forested slopes ringing with birdsong.
Beyond the breathtaking vistas on a boat cruise through the bay, visitors to Halong come to explore the caves – some of which are beautifully illuminated for the benefit of tourists – and to hike in Cat Ba National Park. There are few real beaches in Halong Bay, but Lan Ha Bay (off the coast of Cat Ba Island) has more than 100 sandy strips.

Halong Bay has many breath taking caves and grottos such as Thien Cung (Heaven Palace), Dau Go (Wooden Heads), Sung Sot (Amazing cave), Trinh Nu (version girl), Tam Cung Cave, Kim Quy Grotto, Me Cung Grotto and many others. Some caves are being opened and served for tourists to visits. But some caves are closed in order to preserver for the later generations.

There are some most beautiful caves in Halong Bay:
The Thien Cung Cave (Heaven Palace Cave): this caves was discovered in 1995 only, with very small entrance this cave was under covered for thousand years when is only few km from Halong city. The cave was discovered by chance by a family of a fish man. The man and his child try to cut some wood for lodge on the island, they drop their knife and they try to find it. Finally they found the huge cave. They got a big bonus from the local government at that time.

Next to The Heaven Palace Cave on the same island is the Wooden Head Cave (Dau Go Cave) this cave was used since 12 century by local people. This cave has a huge entrance and the beautiful decoration of the color inside. Both Heaven palace and Wooden Head cave are the popular place for Halong Bay One Day Trip

Many Halong Cruise company choose Amazing Cave for their Halong Bay tour itinerary. This cave is just huge and has three parts: The fist part is the smallest and makes people feel wonderful already. The Kim Quy Grotto is situated on Dam Nam Islet, with a peak 187 m above sea level, It is about grotto is 100 m long and 5 to 10 m wide, running in a north-south direction. In the grotto there are many stalactites let from ceiling look so beautiful. The grotto is linked to the ancient legend of the Golden Tortoise

The Me Cung Grotto, the grotto is about two kilometers from south-west of Ti Tốp Beach. It formed on Lom Bò Island, and seen from afar, the entrance is like the roof of a house denting the island’s side. After a narrow crack only allowing one person through at a time, many partitions appear. These chambers are somewhat small and narrow, but very refined, and with many stalagmites and stalactites bearing beautiful forms.

The Trinh Nu Grotto (Virgin Grotto) is situated on the island range of Bo Hon in the system comprising the Sung Sot Grotto, Ðong Tien Lake and Luon Grotto. Entering Trinh Nu Grotto, one finds in the middle of the grotto a stone statue of a lying-girl with her long hair hanging down who is looking to the sea in a vain hope. The grotto linked to the legend love of a couple.

These are really magnificent palaces of the Creation on earth. At the 18th Session of UNESCO’s Council of World Heritage held on 17 December 1994 in Thailand, Ha Long Bay was officially placed on the list of the World Natural Heritage. In 2000, UNESCO recognized it as the World Heritage for the second time for its geographical and geomorphologic values. This confirms the global premier value of Ha Long Bay.

7:50 – 8:40: Our modern bus and tour guide pick up at your address, start an interesting trip to Halong Bay, on the way, passing Bac Ninh province where Folk Songs – the traditional singing are very famous. You can take photos of the green rice fields in the countryside. Stop for a rest at the local shop where some disabled children are working to make the lovely hand made products.

12:15: Arrive in Bai Chay tourist wharf, welcomed by crew on Alova Sails and enjoy welcome drinks, take photos

12:45: Start a dreamy cruise to stunning scenery with thousands of limestone mountains and have seafood lunch (we serve you with Vietnamese traditional dishes, in case you are vegetarian, we have other food options for you) while cruising through the emerald water passing by the Dog Stone, the Burning Incense islet, stop at fishing village for kayaking or sit in a bamboo boat rowed by locals (Only book with us you can have a chance to be on bamboo boat). After that visit Fighting-Cock rock and the Heavenly Palace (Thien Cung cave) - which has opened to the public since 1998 with stalagmites and stalactites. Back to Alova Sails. Our staff serves you cold tissues and fresh fruits.

16:15: Back to Tourist wharf and get on bus to Hanoi.

20:00: Arrive in Hanoi. Our tour guide and driver say goodbye to you at your address.
